Dan McRorie cannot sing the praises of Shimano Butterfly Jigs enough as evidenced by this huge Sampson fish caught while fishing in Western Australia. Dan released this beauty after this picture!  

Spanish Mackerel are not only beautiful, but a great sport fish that fights, pound for pound, as well as any saltwater fish you’ll encounter. Barry Battista shows off two who succumbed to his fishing prowess while fishing out of Sailfish Marina on the St. Lucie River in Florida. Excellent!  

This Australian Dhufish is excellent eating according to Dan McRorie who is the lucky fisherman in this picture. Dan says this is a fighter, but worth the effort given what great “table fare” it is. Well done, Dan!  

Scott Randall shows us how it’s done with this gorgeous trophy 24″ rainbow trout. Matt was fishing with his wife on January 5, 2013 when he hooked this beauty in central California with his 10′ 4 wt fly rod while Czech nymphing. This amazing fish was released. Matt says this sets the bar high for expectations in 2013. We couldn’t agree more! Bravo, Matt!  

This amazing 40″ barramundi was caught at Endyalgout Island in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia by Matt Shepherd on a G Loomis CR723 GLX rod coupled with a Shimano Chronarch 200E7 baitcaster while lure casting at a snag. Matt released this trophy after pictures. Well done, Matt!  

Our friend Barry Battista shows of a perfect sized Mahi Mahi (dolphin fish) caught recently on a trip to Florida. We can only imagine just how good this was for dinner. Yum, yum!
