ALFC Braggin’ Board | July 7, 2013

     PICTURES from the BRAGGIN’ BOARD

Huge Belgian Walleye
There are big walleye and then there are B-I-G walleye. Philippe Neuville has one of the biggest we have seen this year with this monster 32 1/4″ prize. Philippe didn’t tell us the weight, but this is definitely a monster walleye from Belgium!
PLEASE Send us some recent pictures!  Kids, Wives, Girl friends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to [email protected] and we’ll make sure they are posted on the “Braggin’ Board”. We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Awesome speckled trout

Thanks to Dan Waller for sharing this picture of a very nice 5 3/4 lb, 26 1/2″ speckled trout caught off Venice, Louisiana on a recent fishing trip. Very nice indeed!

Farm pond fat boy

Great friend Steve Flinders says this 5 1/2 lb largemouth was a heck of a lot of fun on his Live Target hollow frog. Steve was fishing a local farm pond when this bad boy hit!

Cod it's whats for dinner

Our friend Kamal Al Sultan holds a magnificent 35 lb. ling cod caught recently on a trip to Sitka, Alaska. Well done, Kamal!

Monster catch

American Legacy’s Pro Jon Beaushene says 4 year old son Ryan is a chip off the old block. We say, “Pictures don’t lie”! Way to go, Ryan!

Beautiful striper

The great thing about fishing is the smiles, and Bob Tartaglia proves that once again with the trophy 30 lb striper caught on a fly. Bob, you’re “The Man”!

LARGEmouth!

Steve Johnson continues to show us how it’s done fishing in a South Carolina farm pond using a Shimano Core reel, G. Loomis rod, and June Bug Senko. This fish went about 9 lbs and Steve says he lost an even bigger one!

Awesome catch

We just love big pike, so it’s obvious that we love Philippe Neuville’s picture of a recent catch in Belgium. This bad boy went 37″ and had to have been a fun fight!

Another great catch

Like we said, smiles tell it all. Gordon Wibbens says this ling cod went 33″ and 16 lbs. Best of all, they’re great table fare. Well done, Gordon!

Beautiful salmon

It may be a bit cold off Sitka, Alaska, but that doesn’t seem to be bothering Kamal Al Sultan who is holding a good looking salmon caught on a recent trip. Very nice, indeed!

Awesome smallies

We love it when our pro’s catch big fish. Jon Beaushene made us very, very happy with these 2 extremely nice smallmouth’s caught on Lake of the Woods around Nestor Falls, Ontario.

Anoth Sitka Salmon

Sitka, Alaska produces some nice fish and great memories. Kamal Al Sultan’s son Essa (right) surely has both with this great salmon caught recently on a trip with his Dad. Doesn’t get any better!

Fish dog

You’ve heard of bird dogs, so why not a “fish dog”? Steve Johnson’s Boykin Spaniel bird retriever Seamus also gets excited about fish according to Steve. We think his look says it all!

Great Smallmouth

Thanks to Kris Effinger for this great picture of a huge St. Clair smallie. That had to have been some real fun!

Wow! 5'8" catfish

How about a 5 ft., 8 inch wels catfish? Gunther Van Ginneken landed this bug guy while fishing in his float tube. Shows that anything is possible!

Monster Halibut

One of our favorite fish for dinner, this nice Alaskan halibut was caught by Kamal Al Sultan on a recent trip to Sitka, Alaska. Yum, Yum!!

Beautiful Ling Cod

Gordon Wibben’s son Nick shows off a very nice 36″, 21 lb ling cod caught off the Washington coast. Great fish and great eating!

Monster Redfish

We keep hearing about monster reds being caught off Venice, Louisiana and this picture sent in by Gary Clark certainly confirms that. Gary says that El Grande Lures Boom-R-Ang in Foxy Fred color simply slayed the reds this trip. Captain Keith Kennedy was the guide for this incredible trip!

Great nature shot

This is what makes fishing so special. Nature. Thanks to Kamal Al Sultan for this wonderful picture off Sitka, Alaska.
