American Legacy Fishing – Braggin’ Board | May 12, 2013

Thanks to Mike Lapiana we have this great picture of his nephew along with grandpa Jackson Lapiana. Like this week’s story says, “taking a kid fishing is the best!” 

Great friend Steve Cones proves once again that he’s “the man” with this extremely nice Barkley Lake largemouth. Well done, Steve! 

Capt. Ryan Harrington shows off a very, very nice sailfish caught 20 miles off Quepos, Costa Rica using a ballyhoo rig. Captain Ryan you are the Best! 

Master Angler Chuck Veith holds just one of 3 bonefish he caught recently in Biscayne Bay, Florida. This bad boy went 29 1/2″ and 10 1/4 lbs. Excellent, Chuck!

The fishing is picking up in Kuwait. Kamal Al Sultan’s 18 lb grouper is proof positive of that. Bravo, Kamal!  

We couldn’t help but include this great picture in this week’s newsletter. Andrew Coil says even serious fishermen need sustenance and these three guys prove that point. We like the shirts! 

Lorenzo Cajucom started surf fishing by fan casting the beach in California. This one gave him good long runs where he almost thought it was a ray until he saw some colors. Here she is. A 37″ California Halibut from the surf. Well done, Lorenzo! 

Harry Neumann shows off a great mess of opening day fish from Connecticut. That smile say it all! 

This huge 40″ barramundi was caught by Sean McIntosh at Shady Camp in the Northern Territory of Australia recently using a G. Loomis ETR81-3 MC- 17 Escape Travel Rod. Excellent!  

We had to include Hannah Johnson’s senior picture this week. We’re sure Hannah has her priorities figured out. Congratulations, Hannah! 

Friend and customer Chris Dolne shows off a nice, fat 13 lb. Biscayne Bay Bonefish caught with Captain Dave Sutton. All we can say is “Wow”! 

Dennie Beavin shows all of us how it’s done with these great fish caught during a BFL Tournament recently on Kentucky Lake. Dennie placed in the money and now we know why! 

Friend and customer Jeff Long shows off 2 of his fish from a 20.85 lb bag at Newton Lake, IL from a few weeks ago. This was good enough for the tournament win. Jeff caught all of his fish using his Dobyns Rods. Doesn’t get much better! 

Our friend Nicolas Lim caught this beautiful rainbow recently on his G. Loomis NRX fly rod. Beautiful fish as well as a great catch! 

Our friend Kamal Al Sultan landed this 12 lb. GT fishing off Kuwait recently. Had to have been an awesome fight. Well done, Kamal! 

Here’s some more proof that small, local ponds can produce some BIG fish. Dennie Beavin and this very nice largemouth are certainly proof of that. Way to go, Dennie!
