Great start to the season

Great friend and customer Dennie Beavin sends us this picture of son Alex’s first fish of the season. 3 casts and Boom! Nice way to start the season, Alex!

5lb tiger trout

Barry Battista says he’s still not sure how he landed this 5 lb tiger trout with his ultra-light set up . Caught after at least 3 big jumps, we think it just shows what a heck of a fisherman Barry is!

Beautiful brown trout

Thanks to Jim Manarey we have this marvelous picture of a beautiful brown trout he caught on a recent trip to southern Ontario using a G. Loomis GL2 rod and Shimano Stradic 1000FI with 6 lb test line. Best of all, Jim let this guy go so another angler could enjoy later!

These Seeley Bay, Ontario crappies were caught by friend Bob Bolger recently. Bob say the bite was strong and the fishing was great!

Nice catch!

Fishing out of Venice, Louisiana Dan’s son Matt caught the beautiful spec. Great job, Matt! You obviously had a good guide!

Shaun McMillin shows off a nice 10 lb catfish he caught using a jerkbait while accompanied by step-dad Mike Lapiana. This was Shaun’s very first fish. Bravo, Shaun!

Barry Battista catches them all. This is a nice yellow perch that we can all attest makes for a wonderful dinner!

Great GT

Thanks to Bob Daly we have this picture of friend Wilson Cox with a very nice GT caught on his recent trip on the Nomad in the Coral Sea. Had to have been a fantastic fight!

Nice largemouth

Steve Johnson says fishing at dawn on a South Carolina pond has its advantages. This nice 6 lb largemouth certainly confirms Steve’s opinion!

Randy Marcum and sister Melissa Smith show off one unbelievable catch caught fishing off the oil rigs around Louisiana recently. Randy say there’s lots of great eating now in the freezer!

Steve Smith sends us this great picture of dawn breaking over a local South Carolina pond. This is really what fishing is all about. Thanks, Steve.
