 PICTURES from the BRAGGIN’ BOARD
PLEASE Send us some recent pictures!  Kids, Wives, Girlfriends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to [email protected] and we’ll make sure they are posted on the “Braggin’ Board”. We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Awesome Lake Erie Catfish

Lake Erie is known for walleye fishing but there are some big catfish too. Capt. Tony Denslow of Mega Bites Charters hauled in this 33″, 18 pounder recently while drifting for walleyes about 12 miles off Vermilion, OH using a Shimano Crucial rod, Shimano Saros reel, and 10 lb Fireline. My oh my!

Yellowbelly
Our friend Mick Ciarma shows of this 14 lb yellowbelly perch caught on a crankin rap rapala  on lake Eildon Victoria Australia. Great Catch

Awesome 20lb Peacock Bass

Our friend Charlie Taylor says this absolutely beautiful 20 lb peacock bass was caught in Venezuela. We can only imagine what a fight it was!

9lb 9oz Mexican bass - Wow!

Edmundo Aviña holds a very, very nice 9 lb. 9 oz Mexican bass caught on a local lake. Best of all Edmundo says this bad boy was released after posing for this picture!

Nice New York Smallie

Two time Chautauqua Lake Angler of the Year Gary Olson of Lakewood, NY shows off a very nice smallmouth bass caught recently on Lake Chautauqua in New York using a white spinnerbait on a G. Loomis rod with Shimano reel. Nice!

Awesome Walleyes

Here’s a 27″ walleye and one a bit “smaller” caught by John Gillman last week on Lake Huron – Saginaw Bay by trolling crankbaits for suspended fish. John says “we killed them” and had a fantastic day.”

One days catch!?

Stanley Fink and Team Jo-Jo show off one day’s catch caught around Delacroix Island in Louisiana. Safe to say the team (6 men/boys) had a heck of a day as evidenced by this great picture.

Cool Hammerhead shark

Andrew Nathan Bell shows off a hammerhead shark he caught recently using a Daiwa Saltiga 4500 Spinning reel. Wow!

A nice visit from Jacob Wheeler

ALFC customer Zach Martin wanted to take this picture in support for “Thumbs up for Lane” with FLW Touring Pro Jacob Wheeler at American Legacy Fishing Company. Jacob was stopping by the shop on his way to the last tournament on Sam Rayburn which he finished 3rd.

Nice Largemouth

This very nice Indiana largemouth bass was caught by Nate Summers early this month at Eagle Creek (Indianapolis) using a crankbait on a G. Loomis GL2 rod with a Shimano Curado reel. Well done, Nate!

Amberjack were biting

A.J. Smith shows off a very nice 39″, 29 lb amberjack caught recently while fishing with Randy Marcum on the Head Rooster off Cedar Key. Good job, AJ!

Another great Amberjack

Captain Randy Marcum of the Head Rooster shows off a very nice amberjack caught off Cedar Key, Florida. Randy, you’re a heck of a guide!

Grouper = Lunch!

Our fellow Hoosier Jody Jamerson caught this very nice grouper on Randy Marcum’s Head Rooster off Cedar Key, Florida. Hey, isn’t Indiana University ranked #1 Division 1 in basketball this year? Yea!

Another nice shark

Great friend Frank Vincent says this 36″, 20 lb shark was caught on 10 lb line while fishing with Art Seppi and friends down in Florida. We’re betting that was a fun fight!

Nice 6lb 14oz. Bass from Portugal

Obviously there are some big bass in Portugal. This very nice 6 lb, 14 oz bass helped Paulo Duarte win the Bank Tournament in Portugal recently. Good job, Paulo!

Great Cod Dinner

Now here’s a very nice Newfoundland cod caught by our friend John Proulx. He says it was a perfect day on the water!

Great Barramundi from down under

Brad Biggin says the barramundi in Australia’s Northern Territory around Darwin are big. From the looks of the fish Brad is holding we’d say that is this week’s understatement!

Huge Barramundi

Yikes! How about this 45″ (107 cm) barramundi caught by Brad and Narrelle from Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Can you say “huge”!

Awesome Tarpon

Nothing beats some fast tarpon action and Joe Pozzi just found it in Belize. What a great catch! Bravo, Joe!

Barramundi bit is on!

Our Australian mate Rick Biggin sends us this picture of a very nice barramundi caught recently around Darwin, Northern Territory. Love the fish, love the Bogagrip, love Rick!

Halibut day

Most large halibut are released back says Mel Folkertsma from Alaska, but this big guy, who went 5’6″ and 148 lbs was kept to eat. The smaller fish (31 lb) was caught by another angler on the boat but sure made a great size comparison!

Gorgeous blue spotted coral trout

Pete Loveday holds one gorgeous blue spotted coral trout caught recently fishing the Whitsundays, Queensland, Australia using a Shimano Saragosa 18000 spinning reel and a Shimano Terez 7’8″ XH rod. Well done!

Diehard G Loomis fan!

Joe Pozzi says some guys will do anything to get in our newsletter. Guess what, Joe? It worked!!

Great Permits!

Joe Pozzi’s friends Wally Filkins and Walter Harvey show off a permit double that they pulled off while fishing in Belize. Well done, guys!

Two Lake Erie Hogs!

Here’s something you don’t see very often: Two Lake Erie (Pennsylvania) smallies with a total weight of over 12 lbs! Dwight Hottle makes all of us look like real beginners. Talk about impressive!

Beautiful Snook

Our “bandit” tarpon angler holds a nice snook caught while fishing in Belize. Thanks to Joe Pozzi for this “mysterious” shot!
