American Legacy Fishing Company NEWSLETTER – November 18, 2012

This Issue: FREE Shipping-No Minimum, Hurricane Sandy Relief & Auctions, Trade-In Rods and Reels, Super Deals, Lots More……

Now that's a fillet!

Mel Folkertsma says his wife and her friends really didn’t fillet out this 104 lb halibut in Alaska this summer, but it did make a great picture. We’re betting they DID do the cooking, however!

Hi Folks,

SUPER STORM SANDY UPDATE:

All of us here at American Legacy Fishing are dedicated to helping out our customers who have been affected by Super Storm Sandy.

Shortly after this monster of a storm hit we started hearing from friends and customers, many asking if we could send any warm clothes we might have that we weren’t selling. Since that very first moment we have been sorting through our stocks as well as working with manufacturers we represent as well as some wonderful friends gathering new sweatshirts, jackets, warm hats, etc. that we can send to those who can use them in the Northeast. Whether they are selling just isn’t the point when friends are in need.

As you will be able to see from the pictures to follow the response from our manufacturer’s and friends has been unprecedented! We were able to ship several hundred warm sweatshirts, jackets, hats, etc. to the Northeast to be distributed to folks who need them. These were sent to people who had contacted us and agreed to act as distribution points to make sure these items got into the hands of folks who needed them most. We figured this was the quickest and most efficient way to handle it.

We know we’ll never reach every person who may need our help, but those we can will at least have some nice new warm outer garments that otherwise they may have to have gone without. We have heard from many of you with your requests and hopefully by now you have received our shipments. We hope we can share some pictures from your distributions in our next newsletter.

Hurricane Sandy has been one of the worst disasters we as Americans have ever suffered and the huge population that has been impacted is unprecedented in the history of the United States. If there was ever a time for all of us to step up and help our fellow Americans this would be it. We hope all of you who read our newsletter will consider making a donation to the American Red Cross. This organization does some marvelous work and many customers have already told us stories of the American Red Cross furnishing them with food, shelter, water, and toiletries that they would otherwise not had. Please consider a donation today.

Our Most Sincere Thanks go out to Shimano, John Gillman of ATS Printing, Sunline America, Big Bite Baits, and more who have help us put together a Huge Amount of Warm Clothes for victims of Sandy.

We thought you would enjoy some pictures of the ALFC Staff putting our Sandy Relief shipments togather:
