Daiwa T-3 “T-Wing” Reels are Here………….
Two things: One, these reels are almost impossible to get right now. Second, they’re Expensive, selling for between $249.95 and $429.95 But they are fantastic reels. All are low profile design and with the new T-Wing feature promise to cast 10% further and increase your cast per hour by about 12% Not insubstantial if you’re a tournament fisherman. Better yet, these babies weigh in at a scant 6.5 to 7.8 ounces!
All the “good stuff” is here, including Megaforce 3D cast control, Zalon frame, tournament drag, 6.3:1 or 7.1:1 retrieve ratios, Lots of bearings, swept handles, and lots, lots more. Best of all, they look great on any rod. Right now we have 2 models: T3-1016H and T3-BLS100H. Both are right hand retrieve, but we’re expecting left hand retrieves and some additional models any day.
Daiwa hasn’t been the best at offering new freshwater reels over the last few years, but in 2011 they have definitely made up for that lapse. These T-wing reels are very innovative and something any fisherman should seriously consider to match up with some of the better rods such as Daiwa Steez, Gl. Loomis NRX or GLX, or Shimano Cumulus or Cumara.

Yea, we know buying a used rod or reel from us has been a real pain in the past. You had to call us and there were times that by the time you called what you wanted was gone. Well, No More! Just a reminder than any used rod we sell is thoroughly inspected, cleaned, tested, and carries a 30 Day “No Questions Asked” return privilege. Many of our used rods fall under the manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty, so a used rod that you save between 30% to 50% on can be replaced with a brand new rod if you break it in many instances.
Our used reels are cleaned, inspected, and tested as well and also come with a 30 Day “No Questions Asked” return privilege. Many of the reels we get in are almost new and we have a tough time figuring out if they were ever on the water. They’re in that good of shape.
