The Diamond Pegs are a very inexpensive way for you to quit destroying your plastics and spend time casting for fish rather than replacing plastics every fish. These little babies go through the hook eye and “clip” in place so your line is tied to the “peg” rather directly to the hook. This means you’re not tearing up that worm or tail every fish. At about 20 cents each these are no brainers if you fish with plastics.
A variation on the Diamond Peg is the new Pro Wacky Weight which essentially does the same as the Diamond Peg but includes a tungsten weight as well. This improves your hook-up angle and once again saves your plastics in the bargain. Another great, practical new product from our friends at Eco Pro.
