I’m a very competitive person….probably too competitive. So, leave it to the me to find a way to make inanimate objects compete against each other. But, that’s what we’re going to! Introducing “Battle of the Topwater Walking Baits”. It’s a competition among eight very popular topwater walking baits in a bracket tournament format. Although we are doing this for entertainment purposes, we figure it’s a great way for us to be able to pass along our opinions on each bait as we move through the tournament bracket.
The Rules
The bracket is set up into four 1st Round matchups. The winner of each matchup will move on to the Semifinals. There will be a separate BLOG article for each and every 1st round matchup. In the article, each walking bait will be reviewed. We’re talking an in-depth analysis, ranging from color options to hook quality. We are going to break it down for you so you know exactly which topwater baits to buy. Once the 1st Round is over, there will be one final BLOG article walking (pun intended) you through the Semifinals and Finals, thus crowning the King of the Walking Baits. Will you favorite bait win the title?
The Purpose
With new baits constantly being introduced, it’s hard (and expensive) to keep trying all the new goodies. The goal here is to give everyone insights into the pros and cons of each topwater lure. Sure we’ll have some fun along the way, but our main goal is to inform you of every possible detail of each lure. It’s more educational than anything else.
