Nice Tattoo

Well, we asked for pet pictures from fishermen and Ja-lindberg sent us this amazing tattoo he has of his cat. No doubt his “pal” as helped Ja land some prize fish!

Awesome Peacock Bass

Here’s a great photo of Steve Townson from http://www.Amazon-Angler.com with a superb 22 lb three-bar Peacock Bass from the Rio Negro, in the Brazilian Amazon. He caught it on a home-made Red and Chartreuse home-tied bucktail jig. Well done, Steve!

Nice Catch

Captain Lucian Gizel is a kayak fisherman and shows us one good lookin’ largemouth recently caught in Michigan. If you haven’t tried kayak fishing you’re definitely missing out. Take a look at Lucian’s videos at http://www.GreatLakesKayakFishing.com and enjoy some great videos!

New Jersey Smallmouth, Nice!

Here’s a nice New Jersey Reservoir smallmouth caught by Mitchell Gerber from Sloatsburg, NY that went 4.2 lbs. caught on a Rapala DT-6 crawdad. Great picture and gorgeous fish!

Awesome Catch

Now folks, this is a trophy size laker in anybody’s book! Thanks to Michael Cronk for sending in this picture of this 21 lb brute caught fishing out of http://www.kfccharters.com on Lake Huron, Michigan. That’s Captain Dave holding this beauty!

California 9lb Largemouth!

Adam Jaynes of Fontana, California caught this fantastic 9 lb largemouth June 30, 2011 using a Daiwa TD Ito, G. Loomis 6 ft IMX rod, and 8 lb Izor line XXX. Certainly a fantastic fish in anyone’s book!

Awesome 58" Sturgeon

Wow! Jim and son Joe Sapp hold a 58″ sturgeon caught near Tongue Point, Oregon this summer. Best of all, this magnificent fish was released shortly after caught. Well done, guys!

Relaxing day

Matt Brumwell sends us this picture of his miniature dachshund Scout in an obviously relax mood after helping Matt with some fishing. Matt says Scout is a real fisherman and very protective of any fish caught. We can relate!

Nice Dolphin Fish

Talk about a good lookin’ dolphin fish, take a look at this beauty caught by Jeremy Stanek in Florida recently. Great fish a fantasy=tic eating! Way to go, Jeremy!

Walleye Assassin Team

Thanks to John Doolittle for this great picture of the entire Walleye Assassin Team at Bolton Lake, Canada this summer. This is the team’s 25th year for this trip. We especially like their t-shirts. Fishing and friends – it doesn’t get any better than this!

Long Cat

Ja-lindberg shows off his cat Morris who is his fishing pal on many trips. Ja says Morris is laid back which this picture definitely illustrates!

Successful fishing trip

Master fisherman Bob Daly sends us this wonderful picture of his team’s success from a recent trip to Alaska. Now if we can just get Bob to invite us all to dinner!

First Ever False Albacore! Nice

Rob Tartaglia’s son Robbie holds his first ever false albacore caught off of Martha’s Vineyard. This 13 lb trophy was caught on a Loomis Pro Green rod and Shimano Saragosa reel. Robbie, you’re the man!

NIce 4.5lb Largemouth

OK, the picture isn’t great, but that doesn’t take away Bob Sutton’s excitement over this 4 1/2 lb largemouth from Lake George. Excellent, Bob!

Nice fish!

Does life get any better than this? Kevin Doerner shows us his two canine pals with him in his boat with this 7 lb beauty from last October. Now if we could only teach our dogs such manners! Great shot, Kevin. Many thanks!

Great 70lb Tuna

Fishing in the Delta of the Ebro, Francisco Zamorano caught this marvelous 70 lb red tuna using a Daiwa Lagoon 4500 reel with 50 lb braid and a rooster popper. What a great catch!

Loomis rod comes through again

You know, fishing should be relaxing as this picture seems to imply. It’s even better when you catch a beauty like this smallie held by kayak fisherman Lucian Gizel. Lucian’s “arsenal” for this beauty was a G. Loomis SBR811 rod, Daiwa Zillion Type R reel, 10 lb Power Pro braid, 8 lb Seaguar InvizX leader , and  a Rattle trap Crankbait w/ feathered rear treble. Magnificent!

Alaska

One of Bob Daly’s “neighbors” while fishing out of Alaska. Or maybe we should say “one of Bob’s fellow fishermen”!

Beautiful Brown Trout

Now this is an absolutely beautiful brown trout and we can tell by the smile on Jeremy Stanek’s face that he feels the same way. This beauty was caught on the White River in Arkansas. Congratulations Jeremy!

Wonderful Walleye

The Danube River in Hungary obviously has some monster walleye and Herein Andras sends us this picture as proof. What a fantastic fish. Bravo, Andrew!

Great Catch

Fishing season is off and running in Kuwait as evidenced by Kamal Al Sultan’s picture just sent to us. Kamal, you are one of our role models!

Monster Catfish!

No newsletter would be complete without Gunther Van Ginneken sending us another great picture and this one is no exception. Gunther’s become a real catfish aficionado and this monster he’s wrestling with in his Outcast float tube looks like a real handful. Certainly a job well done!

Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We’re not after trophies, just pictures of fish you’re proud of. It’s easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
