Braggin’ Board Pictures | April 17, 2011

April 27, 2011 By Fishing Pro Leave a Comment

PLEASE Send us some recent pictures!  Kids, Wives, Girlfriends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to [email protected] and we’ll make sure they are posted on the “Braggin’ Board”. We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Nice Carp

Yes, carp can be a lot of fun to catch, especially when you can make them hit a vibration plug! Gunther Van Ginneken shows us how it’s done in Belgium. Great picture!

Barkley Lake BIG Bass

Mike McAtee shows us there are some BIG bass in Barkley Lake in Kentucky! This brute weighed in at over 9 lbs and was caught recently on a jig. Fantastic fish, Mike!

Nice 100lb Blue Fin

Holy blue fin! Milan Dzikovic spent almost an hour landing this over 100 lb blue fin tuna. He says all it took as a homemade silicone trolling lure and his G. Loomis rod with a Shimano Stella 10000SW. Obviously it pays to have great equipment!

Future Fisher-woman

Kaja Marynuik from Poland says kids are never too young to start fishing. We couldn’t agree more, especially when the fisherman is a cute as this little lady!

Western Australia Spanish Mackerel

Our pal Dan McRorie is at it again! Here’s a fantastic Spanish Mackerel Dan recently caught off Rottnest Island in Western Australia around Perth. Now that had to have some fun!

Nice Texas Bass

Our touring pro Jacob Wheeler shows off a very nice Texas bass caught recently during a pre-fish session. We’re hoping he can land several of these during the tournament!

Nice Catch on NRX rod

Although you don’t HAVE to have a G. Loomis NRX rod to catch fish, Jacob Wheeler says it sure helps. We couldn’t agree more!

Awesome 22" Big Bass

Ms. Vanderbeck says fishing isn’t just for men. We think she means BIG fishing! This 22″ plus fish would be a prize for any guy or gal!

Nice Aussie Bream on SHR821

Now isn’t this a great picture? Steve Pietraszkiewicz says this Aussie bream was caught using a G. Loomis SHR821 with a Shimano Stella 1000 on the Hacking river. We think it was due to Steve’s lucky hat!

Wow! 45lb Murray Cod

Wow! Steve Parke has his hands full with this 45 lb Murray Cod caught at Burrinjuck Dam in Australia. Steve says his Shimano rod and reel performed flawlessly during this battle. Nice job, Steve!

Nice Dusky Flathead

Well, Steve Pietraszkiewicz is at it again. Here he holds a Dusky Flathead that he recently caught from his canoe around Sydney, Australia. A very nice fish!

Two for One

How about two for one? John Vanderbeck says he caught two bass at once on this cast. Now as soon as we figure out what lure that was we’ll let everyone know!

King and Queen - Fish that is

We’ve heard of Queen for a Day (an old television show) but never King and Queen IN a day. Kamal Sultan says it easy. Here he holds a nice king mackerel and a beautiful queen fish. Very, very nice!

Nice catch on a streamer fly

Milan Dzikovic displays a beautiful fish caught on a streamer fly when fly fishing off Montenegro. What a great picture!

Nice Belgian Pike

How about a nice Belgian pike caught on soft plastics? Gunther Van Ginneken says it’s no big deal. OK, the feat may not be, but the fish surely is. Nice catch, Gunther!

Good start for Pre-fishing

Our store manager and resident pro Adam Daywalt shows off what could be a tournament winner were it not that he caught this during a pre-fish day. We’re confident he can do the same during the tournament. Go Adam!

Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We’re not after trophies, just pictures of fish you’re proud of. It’s easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
