Joe Lapiana shows off a Mexican bone fish caught on a fly rod Joe custom made himself. His brother Mike says Joe is a heck of a rod builder and almost as good a fisherman as himself. We’re neutral on that score but we love Joe’s hat!
Denise Randall caught this absolutely beautiful rainbow trout in a central California stream a couple of weekends ago. A size 24 tiger midge tied by husband Scott did the trick. Way to go Denise!
American Legacy Fishing’s store manager, Adam Daywalt (r) and pal Nick Lendy (l) show us how it’s done during the recent Midwest Team Series Tournament on Kentucky Lake recently. They ended up qualifying for the final tournament later this year with a high finish. We like the boat, too!
Mike Lapiana shows us one beautiful trout caught recently this spring. We’re guessing brother Joe took this great picture!
How about one very nice giant trevally and fisherman Simon’s big smile. All here in this picture sent to us by Dan McRorie when fishing Exmouth in Australia. Did someone say “FUN”?
Talk about a great lady angler, how about Michelle Randall with this personal best rainbow caught recently using a 6 wt fly rod stripping a black and green bugger. Way to go Michelle! Booyaa!
On a cold February morning on the opening day of the season on the beautiful River Dee in Aberdeenshire, Graeme Scott his first fresh Salmon of 2012 at Commonty. The fish weighed in at 12 1/2 lbs. and was caught on Graeme’s G. Loomis RoaringRiver 15 ft. GLX Stinger fly rod. Well done, Graeme!
Every so often a picture crosses our desk that makes us say, “Oh wow!” This great picture from friend Chuck Veith is just such a picture. Wonderful, wonderful shot!
Dan McRorie and his 25 ft Contender boat were seeing some serious action at Exmouth in Australia recently as evidenced by this fabulous 150 lb sailfish. Dan’s smile say it all!
Our great friend Dan McRorie is fishing Exmouth in Australia again and as always has sent us some fabulous pictures. Here Dan shows his excitement about to land a 370 lb Marlin in the GAMEX Tournament using his 25 ft Contender boat. Bravo, Dan!
Does it get any better than this? Chuck Veith surely would say, “no way” as he fly casts at sundown off the Miami skyline. Chuck, you’re our hero!
