This beautiful (and big) coral trout shows all of us that Nick Lim knows a thing or two about catching the big ones. We’re pretty sure that good looking Stella 18000SW spinning reel may have helped as well.
Here’s a great picture from Jason Wasylyk from his Panama trip which he says was the “Jurassic Park of fishing trips” with 29 species caught in Lake Gutun (Panama Canal) and the Pacific Ocean over the 10 days he was there. Amazing place. Thanks, Jason!
Terry Ellwood and friend Dan show off a day’s catch from their Houseboat Fishing Trip aboard The Princess out of Port Hinchinbrook in far north Queensland (FNQ), Australia recently. This just confirms that nothing beats a great day of fishing!
Nick Lim sent us this great picture of friend Joe with a giant trevaly caught using a Shimano Saragosa 18000F recently bought from ALFC. Looks like the Saragosa was fully compatible with Joe’s expertise!
Our friend Scott makes these illuminated signs and asked us if we would include one in our newsletter. We’re happy to do this and suggest you contact Scott at [email protected] if you would like to have one of Scott’s custom lighted signs.
Just to confirm Terry Ellwood’s catch didn’t go to waste he sent us this great picture of dinner that night aboard their houseboat. To say we’re a little jealous would be this month’s biggest understatement! Well done, guys!
Terry Ellwood sent us some amazing pictures of Port Hinchinbrook in far north Queensland, Australia that 10 months ago was devastated by Cyclone Yasi, a category 5 cyclone that caused widespread damage to a large slice of Far North Queensland. Amazingly we never heard one news report of this event.
Clear lake in California is quickly becoming a legend for big largemouth bass. Jesse Germano shows us just why this is with a great 9 pounder recently caught and released on Clear Lake using his G. Loomis GL2 Swimbait rod. This is one of 3 caught that totaled over 20 lbs! Wow!
Our friend Tom Kerzka from Redford, Michigan sent this fabulous picture to remind all of us that spring is just around the corner and soon we will be able to enjoy an idyllic scene such as this, shot from his cabin. Thanks, Tom, for this oh so beautiful reminder of what’s to come!
Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We’re not after trophies, just pictures of fish you’re proud of. It’s easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
