Braggin’ Board Pictures – Jan. 21, 2018 January 21, 2018 By Fishing Pro Leave a Comment There’s simply nothing better than introducing fishing to kids. Thanks to Dave Ryberg for these pictures of kids during his Fish & Game Club’s Kids Fishing Derby in 2017. Our Australian friend Tony Dufficey shows off a really nice barramundi caught at Geike Gorge, Kimberley, Western Australia. Definitely a successful trip! John Cliff’s late December fishing trip paid huge dividends as evidenced by this very nice 8 ¼ lb. largemouth bass. It even looks warm there! Guide Abi and Jim Gannon show of a huge Jurassic Lake rainbow. Amazing place this Patagonia, Argentina lodge is! Here’s another Bob Daly monster rainbow from Jurassic Lake in Argentina weighing in at 20 lbs. and 27” long! What an amazing fishery! Lance Benson initiated his new G. Loomis Conquest rod and Shimano Curado G reel on this very nice Florida Peacock bass. Great way to break in a new outfit! Here’s a very nicer striper caught by Barry Battista on a late season fishing trip into New York harbor. Well done, Barry! Thanks to John Cliff for this picture of a 2 ½ lb., 15 ½” crappie caught on Guntersville Lake in Alabama the end of December. Who says winter fishing is slow! Here’s a couple of perfect sized bluefish caught by Barry Battista on a fall outing off New York harbor. Nice! James Holt and guide Sergio with a trophy spawning rainbow from the first pool on the Barrancosco River around Jurassic Lake Lodge in Patagonia, Argentina. Thanks to Bob Daly for this great picture! When we hear from our friend Markus Schrader you can bet he’s caught a real trophy. This 12+ lb., 31” rapfen (leuciscus aspius) was caught by Markus just after Christmas on the River Rhine in Germany while bank fishing. Landing this fish took talent!
