Joe Lupo caught this beautiful 13 lb. steelhead on the Oswego River around Oswego, NY recently in weather that started at 5 degrees (F) and “warmed up” to 12 degrees! This fish was released to fight another day. Joe Lupo is our hero!

Joe Schmid (r) caught this 290 lb. arapaima in Guyana recently on a fly rod! This definitely proves that anything is possible!

Leave it up to Gunther Van Ginneken to catch a nice fish like this pike in the middle of a cold Belgian winter. Great to see the G-Man back on the water after a hospital visit!

Amazing Joe Lapiana says that cold weather didn’t deter him from landing this nice Illinois muskie the end of last month (December). Joe caught 2 Muskies before 9 AM!

Our great friend Kamal Al Sultan caught this good looking grouper in Kuwait when a cold snap moved through. Kamal says it was about 45 degrees (F). Note to Kamal: that’s NOT cold!

Thanks to Bob Daly for this great picture of Jim Schmid with a fierce Guyana black piranha caught on a recent trip there. Yikes!

There are big fish and then there are less than big fish. Then there are fish that go after lures that are simply idiotic. This sent in by Gunther Van Ginneken qualifies for the latter!

Here it is winter, so we all need a “warm” picture such as this taken by Jim Schmid of Kaieture Falls in Guyana. This falls is the tallest single drop falls in the world.
