Braggin Board Pictures | July 29, 2012

July 30, 2012 By Fishing Pro Leave a Comment

PLEASE Send us some recent pictures! Kids, Wives, Girlfriends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to [email protected] and we’ll make sure they are posted on the “Braggin’ Board”. We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Awesome Alaskan Salmon

Essa Al Sultan shows all of us how it’s done off Sitka, Alaska after a great workout with this very BIG salmon. Looks like that Shimano Dryfender rain suit got a workout as well!

Great day of fishing

Last year Bill Debiec asked us if we could help some of his scouts upgrade their gear which we (and Shimano) were more than happy to do. Bill sends us this picture showing everyone just how well these outfits were put to use. Well done, Bill!

Coach Knight!

American Legacy Fishing manager Adam Daywalt seems happy to be standing next to Coach Bob Knight at our ICAST Industry Breakfast (see opening story). Let’s hope the coach feels the same way!

Trophy Trout

Ian MacArthur says this trophy trout was no problem for his G. Loomis 6 weight fly rod. We think Ian’s skill with that rod probably had something to do with his success as well!

Monster Largemouth

Marcie Eilers says after she caught this monster largemouth she discovered the digital scale battery was dead. Marcie says she guesses 8-10 lbs and we believe she’s spot on. Well done, Marcie!

Great day in Sitka, Alaska

Our good friend Kamal Al Sultan and son Essa had one fantastic day in Sitka, Alaska recently. From the looks of this picture we would say that’s today’s understatement! Well done, guys!

Great day of stiper fishing!

Boy, we love seeing kids catch BIG fish and Rob Tartaglia’s son Robbie sure made our day. In one morning this “just turned” 11 year old caught 24 and 30 lb stripers back to back using top water plugs on a G. Loomis Pro Green Rod coupled to a Shimano Saragosa spinning reel. Bravo, Robbie! Very Well Done!

Great day on the lake

Lake Wollaston in very northern Saskatchewan, Canada provided Rich D’Amour the opportunity to catch this monster northern pike. We’re pretty sure both Rich and his guide are pleased!

Future Pro?

Our great friend John Gillman says his pal Josh Wright is a natural at the helm of John’s Ranger walleye boat. If that smile is any indication we’re guessing Josh agrees!

Beautiful Golden Trout

Thanks to our friend Joe Lupo we can show you this fantastic picture of Nikki Sanzari with a beautiful golden trout caught during a family gathering in Pennsylvania. Joe, you’re the best!

Two nice snapper

Bob Kren’s sons Bobby and Michael show of just two of 12 nice red snapper they caught on a recent trip with Joe to Mexico Beach, Florida fishing with Captain Tom of Tom Cat Charters

Another Awesome Perch

What seems to be monster perch to us here in Midwest is just standard fare for Gunther Van Ginneken when he fishes in Belgium. If they taste anything like our perch hen cooked we can only imagine what a great meal they will make. Well done, G man!

Great Job kids!!

Here’s another great picture from Joe Lupo showing all the kids with their fishing trophy’s from Joe’s Pennsylvania outing. Judging from all those smiles it looks like it was a perfect day for everyone.

Productive day on the water

Here’s a great picture from Bob Kren showing sons (L to R) Michael, Bobby, dad Bob, and son Rick from their red snapper fishing trip in Mexico Beach, Florida. Did we mention how good to eat these fish are? Well done, guys!

Beautiful Alaska

We love Alaska fishing and it’s obvious that love is shared by Kamal Al Sultan and son Essa in this great shot from their recent trip to that beautiful state.

Here’s Dixie Ashby with Coach Bob Knight at the recent ICAST Industry Breakfast. Who says you outgrow hero worship?

Trophy Northern from Canada

On a recent trip to Larder Lake (near Kirkland Lake) Jim Manarey of Goerich, Ontario, Canada landed this trophy northern pike using a T1 Terminator spinner bait. Jim says this bad boy was 45″ long and went about 35 lb. and took a good 10 minutes to land. All we can say is WOW!

Beautiful splash

Thanks to Mike Lapiana we have this marvelous picture from New Buffalo, Michigan of water crashing together with a very unusual result.Isn’t nature grand? Thanks, Mike for sending in this great picture!

Fishing and family

Fishing is all about the experience and friendship as much as catching fish, and Rich D’Amour and his brother attest to this in this wonderful picture taken at Wollaston Lake in Canada. It really says a lot about what is really important.

Ouch!

Don’t try this at home! Kamal Al Sultan shows us one of the “occupational hazards” all of us fisherman sometime encounter. Can you say “ouch!”?

Double catch

Father and son fishing. It doesn’t get any better unless you get a “double” which Kamal Al Sultan and son Essa did on a recent trip to Wolverine Creek in Alaska. Perfect!

Relaxing evening

Frank Vincent (with cigar) and friends enjoy some refreshment after a hard day’s fishing at Nestor Falls Fly-In Outpost www.nestorfalls.com on Cairns Lake, Ontario. Friendship and fishing. Doesn’t get any better!

Super time!

This is supper for 8 guys according to Frank Vincent. Just a sample of great fishing on Cairns lake in Northwestern Ontario www.nestorfalls.com Never did find out who had fillet duty!

Beautiful Sunrise

Thanks to Gunther Van Ginneken for this great shot of a beautiful sunrise over the water in Belgium. This is why we fish….

Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We’re not after trophies, just pictures of fish you’reproud of. It’s easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
