Braggin Board Pictures – March 2, 2014

March 2, 2014 By Brian Dolne Leave a Comment

PICTURES from the BRAGGIN’ BOARD PLEASE Send us some recent pictures! Kids, Wives, Girl friends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to [email protected] and we’ll make sure they are posted on the “Braggin’ Board”. We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Whoa! How about this 100 lb. Nile perch caught by Bob Daly while fishing the Murchison Falls Gorge on a recent trip to Uganda? Bob says a Rapala FD18 firetiger did the trick. Even Bob needed help hefting this big guy!
We continue to be amazed at the big pike Philippe Neuville is catching in Belgium. This recent monster is just one example. Well done, Philippe!
Our great friend Joe Pozzi shows of a day’s catch from Baja, Mexico of some good eating tuna. Joe says these 7 fish yielded 200 lbs of tasty fillets!
John Salazar sends us this great photo of a limit of redfish from his Louisiana trip about 2 weeks ago. Gerald Salazar, Chuck Lally and Captain Guy T-Bo caught 3 limits during the trip. The weather was cold, but when you can go fishing who cares about the weather?
“Lumpy” Milson says this Australian barramundi simply inhaled his bait when he used a G. Loomis SBR752C and Shimano Core 100 with Power Pro braid and a Jungle Lures Nude Shad tied on the end while fishing in 3 feet of water on Mapoon on Cape York in Queensland, Australia. Very nice, Lumpy!
This extremely nice 8 lb largemouth bass was caught by R.D. Holland on Lake Guntersville in Alabama the same time the Bassmaster Classic was going on. R.D.’s new Shimano Chronarch and G. Loomis GLX 893 did the trick!
Our friend Danny Effinger shows off a nice winter largemouth caught recently on Kentucky Lake. Who says you can’t fish in freezing weather!
Here’s another “monster” perch that Gunther Van Ginneken landed while fishing from his float tube this winter in Belgium. The “G Man” is definitely the master of these crazy big fish!
We all know that sooner or later winter will end and pictures like this will be de rigueur. Until then, enjoy!
Cole Lundquist shows off a (get this) 135 lb Nile perch caught on his trip to Uganda fishing the Nile out of Wild Frontier’s Camp. This was the largest fish of his and Bob Daly’s trip. Wow!!
Here’s a great picture of friend Bob Daly fishing the Nile River at Devil’s Cauldron in Uganda for Nile perch. Bob says Paul Goldring and his staff of www.wildfrontiers.co.ug were simply wonderful. Bob says this definitely was a trip of a lifetime.
Here’s an amazing picture of Paul Corning with 4 very nice largemouth bass caught the same weekend of the BassMaster Classic on Lake Guntersville in Alabama. Our take is Paul should have been in the Classic!
Nope, these are not fish. But they are some of the “scenery” Bob Daly experienced on the banks while fishing for Nile perch with Wild Frontiers on the Nile River in Uganda. Like we say, “fishing is a lot more than just fish.”
