Ah, pre-spawn largemouth fishing! Thanks to Kevin Doyle for this great shot of a (get this) 18″ Illinois River largemouth. That’s HUGE for a river. Kevin caught this big baby on a G. Loomis rod, using a 1 1/2″ squarebill just off the rock pile in 49 degree water. Way to go Kevin!

Glenn Heseman landed (and released) this monster tarpon while fishing around the 10,000 Island area of Florida on a recent trip. Can you say “Fun!”?

Here’s a great picture of two perfect snook that are destined to be dinner on Dave Tartagliaâ€™s table very soon. Great job, Dave, getting these 2 Tampa Bay area bad boys!

We never get tired of seeing a fish being released. Thanks to Glenn Heseman for providing this great example with his monster tarpon!
