Our 1st Place winners of the American Legacy Spring Shootout Tournament last weekend on Kentucky Lake seem pretty happy with this BIG check! Their bag weighed in at 25.49 lb. Left to right are Drew Sadler (Shimano), Adam Daywalt (ALFC), winners Marty Johnson & David Young, and Brian Dolne (ALFC). Huge thanks to Shimano-G. We’re positive that Michael Milam is more than pleased with this awesome 8 lb largemouth caught late last month while fishing on the Colorado River. Well done, Michael!

There’s a reason they call these fish Tigerfish – note the teeth! Thank to Angus Strong and his 73 yr. young Dad Tim for providing this great picture from the Lower Zambezi River in Zambia/Zimbabwe from a November trip.

These beautiful Michigan smallies caught by Donnie Agnew last summer went 4 lb 10 oz and 5 lb 4 oz. Donnie says Ben Wolfe at Travers City Bass Guide Service knows how to put you on the big fish!

Luke Bruzan and Mike Stone show off their 2nd place fish from American Legacy Fishing’s Spring Shootout Tournament last weekend. They had a total of 25.08 LB. as well as big bass at 8.16 lb. This impressive showing was worth $1,000 plus 2 G. Loomis NRX rods!

Thanks to great friend Kenny Metz for this wonderful picture of a big Venice, Louisiana redfish caught and released during a recent trip. Had to have been the hat!

It’s a cold early morning for the start of the 1st American Legacy Spring Shootout Tournament, but early mornings are always the best. Thanks to all who attended. We will definitely see you again next year!

Bret Lai says this 3 ft Bonnethead shark had the drag screaming on his ultra light Shimano Stradic 1000Ci4 reel while fishing off Bokeelia, Florida recently. Obviously Bret has great skill as well as patience!

His brand new G. Loomis Switch fly rod helped Mark Lopez catch and release this beautiful rainbow trout recently while fishing in a nice Canadian body of water. Well done, Mark!

Great friend Captain Freddy Elrod shows off a very nice 8 lb 6 oz largemouth from St. Simons Island, Florida. This fish was caught using a new Shimano Antares reel and a lot of skill on Freddy’s part!

This impressive 4 lb 2 oz largemouth was caught by Michael Milam on Roosevelt Lake in central Arizona on a recent outing. Very nice indeed!

No, this is not a bank robber (pun intended). It’s just Mark Lopez acquiescing to his wife’s recommendation to avoid the sun while fishing.Hey, we all have to listen to our better half’s!

Yes, this is indeed an 11 lb 3 oz monster largemouth caught by Teddy Elrod “somewhere in Florida” using a G. Loomis rod, Shimano Calcutta GT200TE, and a ALFC Stealth Custom Spinnerbait. Can you say, “my oh my”?

This very nice 5 lb 5 oz Florida speckled trout came Teddy Elrod’s way while he was using a ultra light G. Loomis GLX rod and a Shimano Stradic 1000Ci4 spinning reel. Now this had to have been a blast!

We never get tired of pictures such as this one sent to us by Bret Lai. This beautiful redfish was released to fight another day using Bret’s G. Loomis IMX rod, Shimano Calcutta Conquest 50 reel, and 6 lb test (!) Power Pro braid. Perfect ending, Bret!
