Braggin’ Board Pictures | May 1, 2011

June 10, 2011 By Fishing Pro Leave a Comment

PLEASE Send us some recent pictures!  Kids, Wives, Girlfriends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to [email protected] and we’ll make sure they are posted on the “Braggin’ Board”. We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Big Snaked

Ahmad Norzamzi Borhan from Malaysia shows us an exotic (and big) 27 lb snakehead recently caught on his Daiwa STEEZ rod and Ryoga reel. Pretty neat seeing fish such as this. Thanks, Ahmad!

Nice Sea Bass

Aigereem Osti shows off a very nice 3 lb sea bass (large for Israel) caught on ultra-light spinning gear consisting of a 7 ft Shimano Clarus UL rod and Shimano CI4 spinning reel. Well done!

What a Catch! 70+ Bluefin

Milan Dzikovic definitely has his hands full with this 70+ lb bluefin caught on a Shimano rod and Stella 5000SW spinning reel. Milan says this big guy too an hour to land!

Just Missed the Storm!

Kamal Al Sultan of Kuwait says after catching this nice fish it was time for a cold one and the barbecue. We couldn’t agree more!

Nice Bream from Belgium

It’s bream season in Belgium according to Gunther Van Ginneken. He made sure to confirm this fact for us by catching the huge bream he’s holding!

Nice Steelie

Nothing better than that first fish caught on a new rod. Lance Hildebrand holds a very nice steelie that really proves that point!

Nice Lake Erie Smallmouth

How about a VERY NICE Lake Erie smallie? Dwight Hottle of Erie, PA sends us this great picture showing us how it’s done. Dwight was using a G. Loomis NRX 802C with a Shimano CORE 50MG7 throwing a Lucky Craft Pointer 100 jerk bait. Bravo!

Happy fisherman

There’s nothing we enjoy more than a happy fisherman and Philip Novitsky sure qualifies for that. Philip’s Wilson River steelhead was one of many he and buddy “Chrome Obsession” said the action was early and often on this late March day!

Beautiful Golden Dorado

Our friend Bob Daly is back from Argentina and says his trip to La Zona was unbelievably successful. This huge golden dorado proves Bob’s claims without a doubt!

My First Badung!

“This is my first Badung” says Ahmad Norzamzi Borhan from Malaysia. This unique fish weighed in at almost 7 lbs!

BIG Crappie

Our very own Brian Dolne shows us that he’s just as proficient catching crappie as bass. This BIG guy certainly confirms that!

Nice Grouper

Vitaly Osti says this 1 1/2 lb grouper was “cute”. Hey, it’s a fish and had to have been fun on Vitaly’s ultra-light spinning gear!

Double Delight

We have known for years that a G. Loomis hat will help you catch BIG fish. Kamal Al Sultan sends us this great picture to doubly confirm this fact. Way to go, Kamal!

Perfect Trout

Gunther Van Ginneken says once a year fishermen are allowed 4 trout in the water he fishes. “This is a perfect size for the bbq”, says Gunther. Yep, we couldn’t agree more!

Two Nice Largemouth

Our resident pro and store manager Adam Daywalt shows us how it’s done! He bagged these two fish (6.9 lb and 4 lb) during a tournament a week ago. Way to go, Adam!

One of the real pleasures of fishing

Here’s a reminder of one of the real pleasure of fishing compliments of Gunter Van Ginneken. Beautiful.
Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We’re not after trophies, just pictures of fish you’re proud of. It’s easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
