Joe Pozzi fights a powerful tarpon while fishing in Rio San Juan, Nicaragua on a recent trip. Joe beat fish, fish beat (broke) rod!

This is called a “double header” whether you’re fishing in Belgium, as pictured here with Gunther Van Ginneken, or here in the good ol’ USA.

Friend Joe Lapiana shows off a very nice largemouth caught on his new Shimano Core 50 reel that he describes as “a little bass”. Yea, right Joe!

Roan Brumwell shows all of us how it’s done when shark fishing off Pensacola, Florida. Thanks to Uncle Matt Brumwell for providing the boat and this great picture!

Gunther Van Ginneken says that “drop shotting” is the hot technique for him in Belgium. This oversized zander (walleye) is all the proof we need that he’s on to something!

These two 12″ + crappie were caught by Bob Bolger of Newtown, PA while fishing in Seeley’s Bay, Ontario, Canada about a week or so ago. Doesn’t get much better!

Fishing is hard work which is aptly illustrated by Bo Brumwell after a day on his Uncle Matt’s boat. Matt says right after this picture was taken a wave over the bow got Bo’s full attention!

Roger Summers say this 5 lb.+ largemouth is his best of the year so far. Caught at Geist Reservoir in Indiana using a Shimano Stradic Ci4-2500 spinning reel, a G. Loomis NRX 852, 7 lb test Sunline F/C Sniper, and a Senko bait. Well done!

Scenes like this just never get old when we’re fishing. Thanks to Gunther Van Ginneken for this marvelous sunrise shot!
