Great catch from Pumice Creek Lodge

Our pal (and Tom’s idol) Bob Daly sends us this wonderful picture from his latest trip to Pumice Creek Lodge in Alaska. This was Bob’s 24th year at this lodge and from the looks of this nice salmon we can see why. Way to go, Bob!

Successful fishing trip

ALFC friend Joe Pozzi (R) just returned from Belize fishing for Tarpon and Permit. From the looks of this picture Joe’s trip was a resounding success!

Another awesome wels catfish

Gunther Van Ginneken continues to pursue the Wels catfish in Belgium. They keep getting bigger as evidenced by this 5 ft, 7 inch monster. Holy cow!

Beautiful barramundi

Alex Zorgati used his G. Loomis GL2 rod to land this amazing 38″ barramundi while fishing in Queensland, Australia. Great gear and great fishing skills is our take on this!

Awesome nothern pike

There are smiles and then there are BIG smiles when fishing. Paul Fischer’s very big smile says it all after catching this 43″ northern pike on a fly-in trip out of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada recently. Paul says, “Now I can cross one item off my ‘bucket list’. We agree!

Nice king salmon

Rob Nevin shows off a nice King Salmon caught in Alaska using a single hook pink squid on a fly outfit. Rob was fishing with Bob Daly out of Pumice Creek Lodge in Alaska. Very, very nice!

Nice Aspe

Small but powerful this aspe or some call it roofblei was caught by Gunther Van Ginneken in Belgium using light tackle. Gunther said it was all he could handle and lots of fun during the fight. Thanks, Gunther!

Great day of fishing

Just in a day’s catch say’s Bob Daly. These beauties were caught by the “crew” of Bob Daly, Rob Nevin, Cole Lundquist, and Dr. Wes White on their recent trip to Alaska fishing out of Pumice Creek Lodge. Well done, guys!

NIce little drum

Tyson Eng caught this nice puppy drum while fishing in North Carolina. Even smaller fish like this create lots of fun if you have the right equipment. Well done, Tyson!

Holy Mackerel!

Shane Rogers sent us this picture via Facebook of a very, very nice 46″ mackerel caught recently. Shane says it was the best of the year for him. Wow!

Beautiful Alaska wilderness

It’s not always about the fish as this great picture from Alaska shows. Thanks to Bob Daly for our closing shot.

Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We’re not after trophies, just pictures of fish you’re proud of. It’s easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
