I wanted to leave a review for the great customer service i got from the entire staff at American Legacy Fishing & Outdoors. My wife purchased me a Shimano SLX Baitcasting Combo for Christmas.
It arrived in time for the holidays with very prompt shipping, and an unbeatable price!
I opened it up on Christmas morning, put some new line on it excited to go take it and cast…but as I was reeling the line through the guides I noticed that the very last guide was somewhat cracked, causing a sharp spot that was fraying the line as I spooled it onto the reel.
I called a few days after Christmas to their direct number, got an answer on the first ring, and the gentleman I talked to you gave me absolutely no problem in creating a return label for me to ship the rod back to get a replacement.
I had multiple emails through the return process where they updated me on where My return process was at, and the return was processed very quickly even with the holiday rush and post-Christmas return volume being higher than normal.
I got a new rod that is in perfect condition to complete my combo now, and I just wanted to say if you have any doubt using this company, go ahead and pull the trigger!
I have ordered from them multiple times, and every time I have either been satisfied by the quick shipping and the cheap pricing, or in this case by their customer service and their kindness through the return process with no problems. I will be loyal customer in the future, and I look forward to more holiday sales!
