Hi Folks,
This is our NewsBlast week which typically means no story, But, our store manager, Adam Daywalt, submitted this story and, this being Father’s Day weekend, we felt would be a great fit so we’re using this week’s BLOG post as a hybrid story. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have…..
Dear Dad,
Thanks for teaching me about conservation and the outdoors. Thanks for teaching me how to catch a fish. Thanks for showing me how to take a fish off the hook. Thanks for teaching me to tie a knot at the end of my line. Thanks for not getting upset when I robbed your tackle box. Thanks for teaching me how to use a baitcaster. Thanks for teaching me how to use the boat. Thanks for not getting upset when I came home later than I said I would because I was “ON EM!” Thanks for letting me take the boat every weekend. Thanks for showing me the importance of trailer and motor maintenance. Thanks for paying for all that maintenance (My bad). Thanks for teaching me patience and persistence. Thanks for teaching me that no two days are the same. Thanks for teaching me to continue to try and catch my dreams. Thanks for taking me fishing. And thanks for going skydiving. It shows me that anything in life is worth trying and we need to make the most of every second we have..
Happy Father’s Day,
Adam
Many/most outdoors men and women could [and should] write this letter. Way to go, Adam! Nicely done.
