As for the details of the bag let me tell you from the orange stitching to the G. Loomis logo pull tabs there are endless details which shows you that G. Loomis wanted to revamp the old luggage line and spice it up a bit. The two side pockets are lined with water dry material, which is great. I know after a day of fishing and having wet clothes it’s nice to have a place to store them without it getting other things wet. They also added a very nice removable, adjustable, padded shoulder strap with the G. Loomis Skeleton fish logo embroidered on top of the shoulder pad. Most anglers would tell you that until now getting to deeply suspended fish or giants on structure in very deep water you would use broomstick thick rods with a couple pounds of lead and live bait. Here’s the technique: Drop, reel and pump. Your left and right hands lift at the same time, keeping the long butt of the rod tucked under your armpit. You lift the rod between 8 and 9 o’clock – no higher. Keeping the rod between 8 and 9 will help with the missed strikes that come at the top of your sweeping motion where you are unable to set the hook properly. Simple, huh?
