New G Loomis Rod Release??? We just got an interesting tidbit of information through unofficial sources that there may be a pretty substantial new offering being released soon from G. Loomis. If the rumor is true, it will probably be the biggest release since the new GLX line of bass rods. We cannot release all of the details at this point (because we don’t know all of them) but stay tuned.
If this is all true, this release is going to happen SOON and it will be a line of rods that bass fishermen have held near and dear to their hearts for about 20 years. Exciting stuff!!!

Chris,
We agree G. Loomis rods aren’t necessarily for everyone but they have been in business for a long time for a reason. Guys that want to fish with the best rods in the industry continue to buy them year after year. They may be more than you feel comfortable spending but that’s what’s great the fishing industry. A guy can buy $50 rods or buy $500 rods. It really doesn’t matter as long as the individual is happy with what he has purchased. G. Loomis is Made in American with a Lifetime Warranty. They aren’t cheap but do they need to drop their prices? I don’t think so. G. Loomis has earned the right to charge top dollar because they are top notch quality with premium components and a Lifetime Warranty. What’s more disturbing is how some rods on the market use inferior components, are made in China and still carry a $300-$400 price tag. That’s a tough one to swallow.
At any rate, we sell plenty of rods other than G. Loomis if they are not your cup of tea.
Tight Lines,
Brian @ ALFC
