Shimano Sustain 4000 FG Spinning Reel Review

Here’s a Customer Review of the Shimano Sustain 4000FG Spinning Reel:

The Shimano Sustain 4000 FG spinning reel is an excellent reel for my purpose. I’m a west coast (SoCal) old school inshore/offshore fisherman. When I’m fishing inshore waters it’s on my G Loomis IMX HSR9000s 7′ 6″ rod which is perfect for calico and sand bass. Whether I’m fly lining bait or using plastic the reel performs very well. I can also use the 4000 FG for trout fishing using a 2 lb. fluorocarbon leader. High quality Shimano reels at this level can’t be beat.
