Suggestions on a rod/reel?
Stripers follow the herring running up the Hudson River and therefore make great bait. Most folks use Sabiki rigs to catch them. Those dang hooks catch everything. I've seen something called a Sabiki Rod that "stores" the rig, but reviews are very mixed.
